I Have No Time to Spare

"And the light is nothing but a mirage, a reflection of what has been beautiful, of what has been once blissful."
“And the light is nothing but a mirage, a reflection of what has been beautiful, of what has been once blissful.”

I have no time to spare.

The dawn is breaking into day.

But black are the clouds

and the light is nothing but a mirage,

a reflection of what has been beautiful,

of what has been once blissful.

So who am I to care

if the unknown future unfolds

right in front of me;

A montage of histories revisited

which their existence I doubt.

I have to run fast,

win this lifeless race if I must.

But will there be more to life

than just waiting for the hope

until this world becomes brave and new?

So who am I to care?

I have no time to spare.

The sands of time are running out.

The future is about to begin,

and I will not be there if it does.
